Fecocivil SA has upgraded its manufacturing processes with a tube bending machine from AMOB.
Fecocivil SA
Founded in 1990, Fecocivil began its activity with its own projects dedicated exclusively to construction, façade scaffolding, multidirectional scaffolding, shoring, vertical and flat formwork.
It currently has a production area of around 14,000 m2 where it has developed its activity based on the highest production requirements.
Fecocivil has evolved progressively, always ensuring the quality of its products. The company is constantly investing in innovation and automation of its production lines, thus responding concisely to an increasingly demanding, technological and competitive market.
The company has recently acquired its first 100% electric tube bending machine – eMOB 52. These electric machines feature the latest bending technology, are capable of bending not only fixed and variable radii within the same cycle but also special sections. These mahcines can be equipped with a multi-stack of up to 8 tools simultaneously and bend tubes without straight parts between bends. They enable high-quality results with minimal ovalization, even at lower radius/diameter ratios.
AMOB has once again hit to the road to present another testimony of success, a business relationship with several years of existence, where trust and honesty are once again the basis of success.
Paulo Farinha, Fecocivil’s production and quality director, explains the importance of this machine for his business. A first-hand testimony a few days after installing the AMOB machine: “We bought a 100% electric bending machine and it will allow us to reduce the amount of stages in the production process, because the machine has the drilling component included, whereas in the past we had to do it in two or three stages, with this machine we now have the goal of doing it in just one stage.” Says Paulo Farinha.
During the conversation, the Production and Quality Director said that it was necessary to go through this process of transformation and technological evolution, as this was the only way to boost Fecocivil’s production process. Paulo assures us that the history of the group, as well as the fact that they have an AMOB machine working perfectly for several years, were decisive factors when it came to choosing the right partner for this new tube bending machine. He also mentioned the potential of the AMOB 3D software: “The simulation program is very interesting, because it allows us to design the parts and do the simulation before producing the part. And I believe that’s a very important advantage.” Says Paulo Farinha.
Paulo is very impressed with the AMOB team’s support at every stage of this deal, which he describes as exemplary. From the sales department, which understood Fecocivil’s exact needs and was able to suggest the adequate tube bending machine with a very efficient approach, to the installation team and even the after-sales service.
Fecocivil encourages all types of partnerships or business deals with Portuguese brands. Cooperation between companies helps achieve economies of scale, enables the sharing of resources and knowledge, and increases competitiveness. It is important for organizations to seek synergies between themselves, as is the case between Fecocivil and AMOB group. A cooperation that has already been going for several years and promises to continue to thrive in the future.
