Based in Viseu, Tabelaraíz strengthens its productivity with a new AMOB roll forming line.

Tabelaraíz main objective is to be among the main players in the market, as well as to be a reference of excellence in products and construction services for the metalworking industry. With the partnership established in 2018 with the AMOB group, everything became simpler through the acquisition of the first roll forming line. Tabelaraíz was thus directed to the manufacture and profiling of steel, where the necessary profiles were simultaneouslly produced.

Recently, due to the favorable evolution of the market and with the massification of solar panels combined with a need to reduce production times, it was necessary to fortify this production system with a new AMOB roll forming line, designed to support the high production volumes typical of industries that need these lines in their day to day, all this combined with the latest technology.

“We used to work with just one roll forming machine, which produced the profiles we have, both C’s and Omega’s. But we had to achieve efficiency in delivery to the customer, that is, to be faster, there was a need to simultaneously have both profiles being produced.” Says André Moura, Head of Production at Tabelaraíz.

The total production autonomy of the AMOB group provides increased flexibility when it comes to customizing products. Starting from sheet metal coils, it is possible to integrate various work processes such as profiling, cutting, punching, palletizing, packaging and even bending. “They have competent people, even by phone, the help desk… And many times I had some difficulties, even outside of working hours, they were always ready to solve the issue.” Affirms André Moura, Head of Production at Tabelaraíz.
