One of the greatest metal furniture manufacturers in France recently expanded its range and production capacity. The company sells a wide collection of products – 80% of which are manufactured in their facilities in France – and is constantly investing in better production tools to become more efficient.
This customer’s range of products includes impressive finishes, customisation and special projects. And since they were looking to implement new manufacturing techniques, choosing the world’s market leader in tube bending machinery was the logical choice.
Fully Electric CNC Tube Bender eMOB42 was the machine chosen to meet the needs of the client’s product quality and growth. This machine features state-of-the-art bending technology – processing tube from 10mm up to 220mm OD as well as right and left bend directions for limitless bends and multi-stack capability.
This fully-electric CNC tube bending machine can bend fixed and variable radii within the same cycle and allow bending with no straight in between. A carriage booster allows bends with radii as tight as 1D and consequently eliminates clamping marks.
The entire eMOB series of machinery is also equipped with the newly-updated and very user-friendly AMOB 3D SOFTWARE.
Amongst other features it allows automatic spring-back compensation as well as ‘in cycle’ correction, stores tooling configuration, runs anti-collision and interpolates all 9 axis.
This shortens set up and cycle times, consequently eliminating waste and testing periods during the tooling changeover process. As a result, it’s ideal for those working with premium materials, where any error is costly.
Welding detection, punching/cutting mechanisms and integrated loading/unloading systems are also available.
The machine was recently installed in the company’s facilities and is already in full use, responding in the best way to the difficulties that the customer previously encountered.
