Bending Talks – Episode 4

The fourth episode shares the exciting testimony of Pedro Cortez, Production Manager of AMOB group. A conversation full of good energy, motivation and commitment.

Pedro Cortez has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and around 7 years’ experience in the metalworking industry. The current Production Manager of AMOB group initially focused his activity more on the manufacturing side. In the last year, due to an internal transformation whithin company, Pedro has taken on a greater number of tasks and has consequently extended his responsibilities within the structure.

“For me, the factory floor gives me a positive adrenaline rush every day. It’s something that motivates me and also does knowing that I have more than 100 people every day, to motivate and to guide their tasks and their functions so that everything comes together at the same time so that we can assemble a machine from start to finish.” Says Pedro Cortez, Production Manager at AMOB group.

During the conversation, Pedro highlights the incredible technology of the machines and reinforces the AMOB group’s production capacity through a totally vertical structure, which means that everything from design and conception of the machines to their manufacture and assembly is developed in-house. A perfect symbiosis between the operation of the machines and their physical design.

“In general, our customers are becoming more and more demanding and are challenging us with ever higher standards. I think that AMOB is shaping itself every day to face these challenges more easily and efficiently and to be able to respond to its customers in an increasingly assertive and focused approach that meets their real needs.” Says Pedro Cortez, Production Manager at AMOB group.
