AMOB SA delivers giant pipe bending machine to power generation maker in China

The pipe benders will be installed within this months and will bend pipes ranging from 50 to 273mm in diameter. In order to maximize production and reduce operators efforts, the bender was ordered with a pipe loading system that can handle pipe bundles weighing 24-tons and up to 12-meters in length and will allow loading tubes from frontal and rear position in fully automatic mode.
To prevent wall thinning when pipes are bent, the CH 270 CNC B bender is equipped with Pressure Die Assist Booster. This is a critical requirement for high pressure, energy-related pipe bending applications.
